Knolling with the Fungi was created for a specific themed show called Mushi Mushi at Helvella Gallery in Oakland. The show asked for all kinds of interpretations on the theme of mushrooms. I came up with this piece which allowed me to create something outside of my usual aesthetic. A themed show always pushes me to create outside my comfort zone and expand my artistic vision.

This is a wall piece. All mushrooms have a keyhole in the back in order to be hanged on the wall. You can arrange them anyway you like, although I can provide you with a “map” if you’d like to arrange them in the same way I did.

Please, be aware that these are one of a kind pieces. They are imperfect by nature, so any hairline cracks, flaws, roughness, or texture discrepancies, are part of the piece's charm.

Knolling with the Fungi  would look great in your studio or as part of your art collection.
